The Cronut creator Dominique Ansel whips up a winner again.  The Milk & Cookie Shot is a delectable combination of milk and cookies that results in a crisp brown sugar and chocolate cookie shaped into a shot glass filled with vanilla-and-sugar infused milk.
Ansel demonstrates his baking creativity in each shot. Although the outside of the cookie is a mixture of crisp brown sugar and chocolate, it remains soft inside. Even though they are drowned in milk  from Swede Farm, the cookies do not become soggy because of a heat-resistant glaze. Each Milk & Cookie Shot costs $3.00 and a take home pack of eight is available for $25.00.
“I tried the Milk and Cookie shot at Ansel’s bakery in Soho. It was definitely one of the best desserts I have ever had,” sophomore Alessia Barcelo said. “Once trying the cookie, I understood why it became so popular. I can’t wait to have another.”
The cookies premiered March 14 at Dominique Ansel Bakery in the SoHo, New York City, joining the melange of Ansel’s desserts. Some of his other creations include the Magic Soufflé, Frozen S’More, and the highly acclaimed Cronut. Ansel will debut his first cookbook in October 2014, Dominique Ansel: The Secret Recipes.
