Humans of Sacred Heart- Kaitlin Edwardson '18

What sports team are you the captain of and how long have you been playing on that team?
“I am the captain of Fall Crew, and I have been on the team for every season since the fall of my freshman year.”
What was your favorite memory from this season?
“My favorite memory from this season was racing in my last Head of the Charles Regatta. I went during my sophomore and junior years, but this year was my favorite. My boat became really close, and we had so much fun the entire weekend. Racing in such an important and international race really made me grateful for the opportunities that the crew team has given me.”
What do you value most about being on a Sacred Heart Greenwich sports team?
“I value the teamwork and atmosphere that surrounds a Sacred Heart Greenwich sports team. Whenever I get a psych-up, or somebody asks me about how my team did, it shows me how much the Sacred Heart Greenwich community cares. Crew is a hard sport to spectate since most of our regattas are several hours away, but it makes me happy to see how many people go and watch the volleyball, soccer, and field hockey games.”
