"Humans of Sacred Heart" – Hilary Hoover ’19

Where did you go on the lacrosse team’s spring break training trip and for how long?

“This past spring break we had the privilege to travel as a team to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. The spring training trip is always a huge highlight of the season as it is an awesome opportunity to bond as a team, grow as players, and improve our skills. While at IMG, we were able to focus on the total athlete by attending numerous sessions including nutrition, leadership, speed and agility, and strength.”

What did you enjoy most about the lacrosse training trip over spring break?

“One of the highlights of this spring training trip was our overtime victory against IMG Academy’s women’s lacrosse team. Although it was just a scrimmage, it was our first win of the season, and it was super exciting to see our team come together against such strong competition. Overall, the best part of the trip was growing closer as a team through fun group activities.”

What are you looking forward to this lacrosse season?

“I am extremely excited for this upcoming lacrosse season. We have a very special group of players with an incredible bond. We are looking forward to competing against high-level teams and hopefully attaining another FAA title.”
