Who rang you and what does receiving your class ring mean to you?

“My sister, Nephthalie Rene [’18] rang me. To me, the class ring is a symbol of the Sacred Heart sisterhood that I am so fortunate to be a part of. It is an item that my class and I will forever cherish because it bonds us together. The ring also means no matter where I go or who I meet along the way, I will always have a group of smart, independent women who I am proud to call my family.”

What was your favorite part of the Ring Day ceremony?
“My favorite part of the Ring Day ceremony was receiving my ring and having my sister by my side to guide me into the next chapter of my life as I near the end of my Sacred Heart experience.”
Why did you pick the song “You’ll Always Find Your Way Back Home” for the junior class to sing to the senior class during the Ring Day ceremony?
“I picked the song ‘You’ll Always Find Your Way Back Home’ by Miley Cyrus for the juniors to sing to the seniors because the artist speaks of three certain virtues I hold dear to my heart: courage, faith, and love. These three inspiring qualities echo the goals and criteria which are valued deeply here at Sacred Heart.”
The King Street Chronicle thanks junior Ludnie Rene ’19 for her contributions to “Humans of Sacred Heart.”
