Marrakesh is a major economic center full of scenic palaces and gardens. The medina, a small commercial area within the city, is known for its tight alleys and vibrant square. Within this square there are performers, along with an assortment of markets and stores. Outside of the medina there are various temples and landmarks including the Majorelle Garden, Bahia Palace, and Koutoubia Mosque.
