Trend of the Week:  “Millennial Pink”

Imaxtree via nymag.com

“Millennial pink is everywhere. That heady mix of salmon, blush, bubblegum, and coral has been popping up on shopping bags (Acne Studios), books (hello, 2016 best-seller Sweetbitter!), and even tabletops (take a trip to New York restaurant Dimes and you’ll see what we mean). The saccharine hue also made a cameo on the Fall 2017 runways, appearing on a corduroy blazer at Adam Lippes, on a so-fuzzy-you-want-to-touch-it fur coat at Nina Ricci, and on a pretty shift dress at Prada […] No matter the context, there’s no denying that the color has a certain charm. Want to dive into the trend? Why not try an exuberant pink silk frock from Gucci and matching heels for a night out?” -Text source: vogue.com

Game of the week:
Saturday April 29, the New York Rangers lost their second game in a row to the Ottawa Senators in double overtime when Jean-Gabriel Pageau scored his fourth goal of the game with two minutes and 54 seconds left. Pageau also scored twice in the final three minutes to tie the score. He tipped Zack Smith’s shot past Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist to pull the Senators to 5-4 and then tied it by deflecting a shot by Kyle Turris with one minute remaining in the 3rd.  Being the smallest player on the roster (5-foot-10, 180 pounds), the 24-year-old Ottawa native is the first Senator to score four playoff goals in a single game. Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Second Round takes place at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday at 7 pm.
