Which characters do you play in this year’s fall play, Frankenstein, and how do you relate to those characters?
“I am Captain Walton, Professor Krempe, a Woman, and Magistrate. I relate to Captain Walton because he is very adventurous, and his dreams are important to him. I relate to Professor Krempe because he is a little nerdy regarding the things he is passionate about.”
What is the most challenging aspect of performing multiple roles?
“Truthfully, I think the most challenging part of playing multiple roles is having to memorize more lines. However, that usually comes with a number of roles. It is also hard to remember to change my mindset when I play various characters because they are all very different.”
What is your favorite part of participating in the production.
“My favorite part of participating in the play is the community and the feeling of being on stage. I love how welcoming the upperclassmen have been and the environment they have created within the program. I also love the feeling of working hard in rehearsal and seeing it come together to show my friends and family. It is so fun to be in the mindset of a character you see yourself in or act as a completely different person.”
