Memory: Mrs. Judene Pendergast
“Our five children gave us a special gift each Christmas. They put together a play and presented it to us on Christmas Eve. It typically was some variation of The Nativity. As they got older, the props, the script, and the characters became more complex. When they could no longer organize the play, the gift from the children included a collaboration of written and illustrated books, and in these later years, a harmony of their angelic voices singing ‘Oh Holy Night’. I am touched by the effort and love they put into this gift each year for us.”
