The Sacred Heart Greenwich community gathered to celebrate the legacy of civil rights leader Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the annual prayer service, January 17. This episode of King Street Conversations explores the influence of Dr. King and his use of peaceful protests to advocate for social justice. We spoke with Mr. Joseph Valentine, Upper School History Teacher, and junior Chloe Hill to discuss the enduring effects of Dr. King’s work, both during his life and in the world today.

Gianna is eager to begin her first year as a staff writer for the King Street Chronicle. During her sophomore year, she is excited to expand her writing skills through reporting and journalism. Additionally, Gianna is thrilled to be able to learn from her peers. When not in school, Gianna enjoys hiking with her family, baking, reading, and playing volleyball.
