What motivated you to become a representative of the Sacred Heart Network Student Advisory Committee (NSAC)?
“I was motivated to represent Sacred Heart Greenwich in the Network Student Advisory Committee because I am passionate about the mission of Sacred Heart and want to pursue different ways that we can implement the Goals and Criteria in our schools [around] the globe. I also love getting to know students from other Sacred Heart schools. It is so interesting how connected and similar our schools are, no matter how far apart they may be.”
How does NSAC plan to strengthen the connection between Sacred Heart Greenwich and the broader network of Sacred Heart schools?
“Among many of the projects we are working on this year is a sub-committee that will facilitate connections between Sacred Heart Schools. We plan to do this by creating opportunities for students to interact with their Sacred Heart brothers and sisters around the globe. Another project involves connecting Sacred Heart students through art and literature and another plans to connect schools by using the NSAC Instagram account.”
How do you collaborate with other representatives of NSAC from other schools?
“At the start of each month, the Network Student Advisory Committee meets via Zoom. Here we get to work with each other on projects, led by our student leaders, in line with the Network’s theme this year, ‘Hearts Rooted in Change.’ It is an amazing opportunity to be a part of this group, and I am so thankful for all of the student leaders and Ms. Codina for organizing and leading this committee.”
