How has seeing older students wear their Sacred Heart Greenwich rings in past years shaped your understanding of the tradition?
“The Sacred Heart ring is a symbol of the strong community that bonds generations of Sacred Heart students globally. Seeing older students wear the ring has shaped my understanding of the tradition. It makes me realize that we will forever have something that connects us, even after we graduate and excel beyond Sacred Heart.”
The ring symbolizes the Goals and Criteria Sacred Heart. In what ways, do you see yourself carrying that mission forward through your leadership as Junior Class President?
“As the junior Class President, it is my role to represent the Sacred Heart Goals and Criteria by encouraging students to confidently be a part of the Sacred Heart community and build lifelong friendships. I see myself carrying the mission forward through my leadership by ensuring the importance of courage and confidence during both my classmates’ time at Sacred Heart and beyond.”
How do you hope to live out the values that the ring represent in your final year at Sacred Heart?
“The […] values that the ring represents is important to me because it is a way of uniting the community, and symbolizes the circle of friendship we form as students at Sacred Heart. I hope to live out the ring’s values by continuing to grow the community, and encouraging my classmates to spread the joy and love that is found at Sacred Heart.”
