Monday, November 19, Mas. Sergeant Joe Ban spoke to Convent of the Sacred Heart students about his time as marine. Sergeant Ban is a family friend of sophomore Grace Kennedy. He has served in the marines for 19 years. His involvement in the Red Cross program, “Holiday Cards for Heroes,” inspired Upper School students to write holiday blessings, wishes, and notes to those overseas.
