"Humans of Sacred Heart" – Christina DeConcini ’18
What has been your favorite thing about being Senior Class President?
“I think my favorite aspect of being president is designing and ordering the apparel: stickers, magnets, lanyards, rugbies, etc. I love graphic design, and it is really cool to see people are representing the grade in things I have designed.”
What is one of your favorite memories at Sacred Heart Greenwich?
“In ninth grade, the Varsity Soccer team made it to the FAA championships. Classes were canceled, posters were made, and we all headed to Greenwich Academy (GA) to support the team. When Sacred Heart won in overtime, we stormed the field. It was so much fun to see all the school spirit and excitement everyone had. Earlier this year, I felt as though my time at Sacred Heart had come full circle: Varsity Field Hockey made it to the championships against GA. When they won in overtime, we stormed the field. It was an awesome way to end my last fall sports season.”
What will you miss most about Sacred Heart next year?
“One thing I am going to miss is the film festival. The planning starts on the first day of school, and it truly is one of the best nights of the year. In the end, though, I am going to miss my grade. It blows my mind how we are already seniors, let alone graduating in a couple of weeks. Although I am excited for the next chapter in our lives, it is going to be sad saying goodbye to my 70 sisters as we head our separate ways.”
