What is your favorite Thanksgiving tradition/memory at Sacred Heart?
“My favorite Thanksgiving tradition at Sacred Heart is the Thanksgiving lunch we have before we go on break. They serve turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and more. I have been at Sacred Heart for eight years and being able to have this tradition is something that I look forward to every year, and something I hope is continued.”
What puts you in the Thanksgiving spirit?
“One thing that puts me in the Thanksgiving spirit is my grandma’s pies that she makes. Ever since I was little, I have always looked forward to her blueberry pie, and I hope that I can take that recipe and make the same pie for my kids one day.”
What do you love most about Thanksgiving?
“My favorite part of Thanksgiving is being able to spend time with my family. They live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Even though it is not too far away, I only see them a couple of times a year, so I always look forward to us gathering for Thanksgiving. My mom has three sisters, and they all have two kids, plus my mom’s cousins also come with their two kids each, so altogether there are a lot of people.”
