Where did the basketball team go for the tournament and for how long were you all there?
“We traveled to Orlando Florida to participate in the KSA [Kaylee Scholarship Association] annual Classic Holiday Tournament, and stayed at the Orlando Hilton for five days and four nights.”
What did you enjoy most about the tournament?
“We had games in the morning, which left our entire afternoons open to be able to go to the parks and have downtime, so going to universal as a team and playing in the waterparks at the hotel was so much fun. We got to go on a bunch of rides as a team and even convinced the coaches to join us as well. We also won the championship in our bracket which was pretty invigorating.”
What are you looking forward to this basketball season?
“We already have so much team chemistry, so I can’t wait for us to grow even closer as a group. Our season is off to a pretty amazing start so we’re looking to carry our undefeated streak for as long as we can and hoping to get to get to the FAA finals and possibly the New England tournament.”
