"Humans of Sacred Heart" – Isabella Gunningham ’20
How long have you been playing tennis, and what prompted you to start playing the sport?
“I have been playing tennis for about 11 years. I first started tennis classes when I was six years old, and I grew up with it.”
What is your favorite aspect of tennis?
“Though tennis is an individual sport, you are still part of a team. The sport itself is great for exercise as well as making new friends. This year was my first year at Sacred Heart Greenwich, and playing the sport has been a great way for me to make new friends.”
What do you enjoy most about playing on Sacred Heart’s tennis team?
“What I love most about playing on Sacred Heart’s tennis team is being part of a team and making new friends. Everyone is so inclusive and supportive when it comes to the sport. During our matches, we cheer each other on and give pointers for improvements. I am so lucky to be a part of the Sacred Heart community and especially the tennis team.”
The King Street Chronicle thanks junior Isabella Gunningham ’20, for her contributions to “Humans of Sacred Heart.”
