“Humans of Sacred Heart” – Olivia Caponiti ’23
Why did you decide to run for student council?
“I decided to run for student council because this school and its community have given me so much over the past 12 years and I wanted to give back. I love my grade and wanted to make this year the best possible for everyone. I was also president last year in eighth grade and I really enjoyed it, and I feel as though I have a lot of experience and important qualities to bring to the table.”
What are you looking forward to this year?
“This year, I am looking forward to working with the other student council members to plan important things like Congé, morning meetings, and civvies days for good causes. I am looking forward to everything I will do as president, big and little, to improve the year for all of us.”
What are you hoping the freshman class will achieve this year?
“By the end of the year, I hope the freshman class can really get to know each individual person and create a loving and supportive family within our grade. I want to make it the most enjoyable and memorable year for all freshmen. The student council and I will work to incorporate several fun and bonding activities during the year to achieve this goal.”
