“Humans of Sacred Heart” – Mr. Robert Cushman
When did you start playing the euphonium?
“I played trombone beginning in the fourth grade and switched to the euphonium in the eighth grade.”
What is your favorite part about playing the euphonium?
“I really enjoy opening up a hymnal and playing the melody line of various hymns. It is enjoyable and soothing and helps with my spirituality. I always enjoy performing at Upper School chapels and all-school liturgies.”
What is your favorite Christmas carol to play on the euphonium?
“That is a tough one, but I would have to say ‘Hark the Herald Angels Sing.'”
The King Street Chronicle thanks Mr. Robert Cushman, Upper School Math Teacher, for his contributions to “Humans of the Sacred Heart.”
