Scattered Books

Scattered Books is located in the center of town in Chappaqua, New York.  The bookstore contains a variety of book genres and authors, and hosts birthday parties and other events, according to scatteredbooks.com. 

When walking into the bookstore, I noticed books lining the walls of the store.  As I made my way past each bookshelf, I recognized familiar authors and books while also discovering new ones.  I read on their website that they have bunnies in the store.  While I did not participate in playing with the bunnies, it is a unique and fun facet of the bookstore that be especially entertaining for kids.  The store also sold notebooks, pens and other supplies.  

After making my way around the store, I chose a book called, Summer of ’69 by Ms. Elin Hilderbrand.  The book was $18.41.  This bookstore offers books and activities for both kids and adults.  The store had a large selection of books and all the employees were helpful.
