Why did you join the Bell Choir?
“I decided to join Bell Choir as a way to get musically involved in school. When I heard about the opportunity to join the Bell Choir, I thought it could be a fun, unique instrument to learn. Additionally, I am not the best singer, so I thought Bell Choir would suit me best.”
How is the Bell Choir different from playing other instruments?
“Bell Choir differs from playing other instruments because a huge part of playing the bells is timing. Unlike any other instrument, bells require many different people to be in sync in order to achieve one perfect and harmonious sound. It is also very different as we get to play in school events and liturgies along with the school choir and the Madrigals. It is an extremely rewarding experience getting to perform in front of others.”
What has the Bell Choir taught you?
“Bell Choir has taught me the importance of working with others to achieve one common goal. Bell Choir is also super fun at any level, and Miss Gennaro is a great teacher. Bell Choir has also taught me about commitment, as attending 7:30 a.m. practices is not easy. Overall, I have greatly enjoyed my experience so far this year and am excited to continue playing.”
