Pine Ridge trip explores the impact that service can have on a community

This summer, a group of Sacred Heart Greenwich students and faculty members traveled to Pine Ridge, South Dakota to engage in a week of service and learning on the Pine Ridge Reservation. This episode explores the work of Re-Member, a volunteer organization on the reservation, and the impact they have in supporting the community. Dr. William Mottolese, Upper School English Teacher and Director of Education to Mission, joined us to discuss the trip this summer and the effect that the trip had on the group. Dr. Mottolese shared his connection to Pine Ridge and how the work that the students and teachers engaged in impacted him after the trip.

Building on her experience as managing editor, she is excited to take on this new leadership role as a senior and help shape the future of the publication. Brianna is passionate about fostering a collaborative and creative newsroom where the editors and staff writers can develop their unique journalistic voices. She looks forward to introducing fresh ideas that will inspire both creativity and pride among the staff. Outside the newsroom, Brianna leads the Garden Club and serves as a core team leader on the Network Student Advisory Committee (NSAC), where she enjoys connecting with students from Sacred Heart schools across the United States and Canada.
