What influenced you to take on the roles of Director of Campus Ministry and Upper School Theology Teacher?
“Honestly, it’s the students who inspired me to take on this role. I’ve had the joy of teaching in both the Lower and Middle Schools and serving as a Campus Minister in every division. Those experiences showed me how deeply students grow in heart, mind, and spirit as they move through Sacred Heart. In this new role, I want to help bring unity to all we do, and to create spaces where students can grow in faith and develop a spiritual core that will sustain them. I hope to help them learn to wrestle with life’s big questions and to become people of prayer, discernment, and action, ready to live in the world with courage, confidence, and love.”
How does your new role help you further connect with the Sacred Heart community and become closer with students?
“This role lets me be part of so many moments, chapels, retreats, liturgies, service projects, and those little hallway conversations that mean the most. That’s where real connection happens. I get to see students reflect, lead, and open their hearts to God and to one another. Working with students, faculty, and staff gives me a sense of how each part of our community contributes to something greater. Together, we’re creating a rhythm of prayer, reflection, and action—a community rooted in love and purpose. It’s in those small moments and everyday conversations where the deepest connections are made.”
What do you hope to accomplish as Director of Campus Ministry and Upper School Theology Teacher?
“My greatest hope is to help our community live the mission with joy and depth, and to make the Holy Spirit their central inner compass. I want our community to recognize how God is already at work in their lives, guiding them through the questions and choices that shape who they are becoming. My aim is to help students grow into thoughtful, grounded people who act with courage, integrity, and compassion in their daily lives and to go on to do the work God calls them to do.”
