How would you describe this season as a whole, both for you personally and for the team?
“I think the season has been very positive. For me, it has been so much fun playing Sacred Heart field hockey. The team dynamic […] has made the experience this season so great. We are still considered a very young team, so I think our record has been very impressive with only two losses. I can’t believe the season is practically over. It’s gone by so fast.”
Even though the Fairchester Athletic Association (FAA) finals game didn’t go the way you and the team had hoped, what are you most proud of about the team’s effort and growth?
“It’s a disappointing loss, but there are so many positives we can take out of it. We definitely played a tighter game against Greenwich Academy this time around which shows growth and improvement in our strategy. Furthermore, I think everyone really competed and tried their best, which I am very proud of.”
What was the most memorable or meaningful moment from the season?
“My most memorable moment from the season was our trip to Pennsylvania. Earlier in the year, we went to Pennsylvania to play in the Max Field Hockey National High School Invitational. We had the opportunity to play against some of the best teams in the country and I think that is when we realized how much potential we truly have.”
