Convent of the Sacred Heart rowers, coxswains, and coaches alike headed to Boston, Massachusetts to compete in the fifty-first annual Head of the Charles Regatta, October 16 through October 18. Sacred Heart competed in their varsity eight boat, “Heart Coeur,” in the women’s youth eights event. Rowers, Pau Barbosa ’18, Kaitlyn Edwardson ’18, Perry Barth ’18, Aggie Ryan ’16, Alexandra Dimitri ’16, Maeve Hogan ’17, Tess Driscoll ’16, and Katherine Siciliano ’16, and coxswain, Catherine Eagan ’16, participated in the race. Colleen DeConcini ’16, Molly Smith ’17, and Cate Kulowiec ’17, also traveled with the team as spares along with coaches Mr. Paul Ruggerberg, Mr. Nick Hoffmann, and Ms. Kaitlin Summers.  Sacred Heart placed seventy-second out of eighty-five boats on their October 18 race.
