What made you and your friends decide to wear matching sweaters on the last day of school before Christmas break?
“We always have thought of doing something like this on previous civvies days, yet never found the time or outfits to do so. This year, we finally put the plan into action. The other girls involved were Bridget Murphy ’18, Bettina Hervey ’18, Jackie Koletas ’18, Madison Miraglia ’18, Paolina Baloup-Kovalenko ’18, and French exchange student Eva Le Grill ’18.”
Do you have any special plans over Christmas break?
“I am currently writing to you from Palm Springs, California. We just climbed up a mountain and ate lunch. My family and I are going to be in Palm Springs for a few more days and then we are going to San Diego.”
What is your favorite present this year?
“My favorite gift would probably have to be the book Carry On by Rainbow Rowell.”
What are you most excited about in the new year?
“I am most excited for the school play Les Misérables. We only have had two rehearsals so far but I cannot wait to start learning more songs and watch the show come to life. Plus, I get to hang out with my friends, including some that have graduated but are coming back to help with the show.”
The King Street Chronicle thanks Sofia Caruso ’18 for her contributions to “Humans of Sacred Heart.”
