How do you plan on spending your spring break?
“Over spring break, we are welcoming a new baby girl to our family, so that will consume the majority of my time and energy during those two weeks.”
Do you have any final words of wisdom to seniors hearing back from colleges, or to juniors embarking on the college process?
“This is not the finish line.  Oftentimes, students view the end of high school as the culmination of all their hard work and their college destination as some prize to be awarded for their efforts.  Just as with high school, what you gain from your college experience is largely due to how much of yourself you put into those four years.
Juniors, I encourage you to keep an open mind as you conduct your search and try to see the positive qualities in every college you research.  Seniors, regardless of where you choose to matriculate next fall, go into your college years with the confidence and optimism to make your mark.  Take risks and take advantage of all the exciting opportunities that await you and you will have a full and rich four year experience. We can’t wait to hear all about it when you come back to visit CSH.”

The King Street Chronicle thanks Director of College Guidance Mrs. Erin Ramirez for her contributions to “Humans of Sacred Heart,” and congratulates her and her family on the birth of her daughter Nina.
