What career do you want to pursue in college?
“I really want to be a pediatrician. I have always loved kids and have been very interested in medicine, so I think pediatrics will be a great fit for me.”
What made you develop a passion for medicine?
“Last summer I went to a hands-on medicine program at Brown University. I got to perform surgeries on a cadaver, and they let us hold real a brain, heart, cancerous liver, kidney and a collapsed lung. That experience inspired me to pursue a career in medicine.”
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
“In ten years I would like to be a part of the program Doctors Without Borders working as a physician in training in mainland China.”
