What was your favorite school activity that you have done while you have been on exchange at Sacred Heart Greenwich?
“I really enjoyed going to the observatory and seeing all the stars and even getting to see Saturn.”
What are the major similarities and differences between your school in Ireland and Sacred Heart Greenwich?
“The morning meetings are somewhat similar except for the fact that ours isn’t all of our school. It’s just our year. Another thing is that while you are based [on] an eight day schedule we are based [on] a five day schedule, which keeps it interesting. While your classes are 55 minutes ours are 40 minutes. Also, for lunch we have different lunch rooms for each year.”
What was your favorite experience during your time on exchange?
“While I was here, Nancy and Giselle were so kind, and they brought me on an overnight stay to Washington [DC] where we went to see the White House and a couple of very interesting museums. We also went to see a broadway show in the Winter Garden Theatre which was a very nice treat. We also went into New York City and that was so much fun.”
The King Street Chronicle thanks Irish exchange student from the Mount Anville Secondary School Lucia Cleary for her contributions to “Humans of Sacred Heart.”
