"Humans of Sacred Heart" – Madeleine Galper
What puts you in the Christmas spirit?
“Something that puts me in the Christmas spirit is blasting Christmas music. I love listening to it all the time: in the shower, while doing homework, driving, and pretty much any other time. It always cheers me up.”
What are you most looking forward to this Christmas season?
“This Christmas season, I am really looking forward to dressing up as angels with my class in the gym and leading the school in the sing-along. I remember watching the seniors do it when I was a freshman, and it is crazy to think how now I’m going to be doing the same.”
What is your favorite Christmas memory at Sacred Heart?
“I have so many amazing Christmas memories at Sacred Heart, but my favorite memory is probably when we had our advisory party the last day of school before Christmas break in ninth grade. Our advisory thought it would be a good idea to combine with Mrs. Pregiato’s advisory to have a waffle party. Long story short, we made a mess and the batter started leaking out of the waffle maker everywhere. We never successfully made any waffles, but luckily Mr. Favata had his hot chocolate machine. It was a really funny experience and our advisory bonded a lot.”
The King Street Chronicle thanks senior Madeleine Galper for her contributions to “Humans of Sacred Heart.”
