Fashionistas worldwide will have access to the high-end Parisian designs of Isabel Marant November 14. The renowned French designer is bringing her expensive style to the affordable stores of H&M.
Marant is known for her revolutionary wedged sneakers and strappy open toed heels, but with only ten shops across the globe, these treasured items are often inaccessible. The upcoming collaboration will allow Marant-lovers to obtain the exclusive line at over 3,000 H&M stores without having to travel to Paris, New York, or Tokyo.
“It’s really exciting that H&M is able to bring Isabel Marant’s couture designs to a broader, and more affordable market. It’s really making fashion a more accessible option for average people,” sophomore Corina Gonzalez said.
According to Marant’s interview with H&M Magazine, her intent for the collaboration is to bring her most beloved pieces to a wider range of customers. It will feature renditions of her most coveted items from her original clothing lines.
“I picked out things I have in my own wardrobe that I’d never want to lose. They’re like my treasures, and I wanted to share them with H&M,” Marant said.
The highly anticipated line will introduce both trendy silhouettes and exotic patterns. Brightly printed pants and her well-known fringe boots will accent the staple wardrobe essentials of various blazers, jackets, and t-shirts.
The Isabel Marant for H&M collaboration includes more than just stylish women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories. For the first time, Marant designed menswear to be introduced into her line.
“It was fun to figure out how to translate my woman to menswear… in terms of pieces, I knew exactly what I could do, but then to make it look nice and real for men was not as easy as I had thought in the beginning, ” Marant said.

The do-it-all designer looks forward to joining Versace and Jimmy Choo among the list of elite designers to have participated in an H&M collaboration. While several well-known fashion bloggers have been leaking photos and articles from their exclusive previews to the designers’ collaborative work, others must wait patiently for the line’s mid-November launch.
