How has your experience in the Sacred Heart Greenwich lacrosse program shaped your Upper School experience?
“Many of my favorite moments from my time in the Upper School took place on the lacrosse field or with my teammates. I have absolutely loved being a part of the lacrosse team here at Sacred Heart. It is truly a special program, and I am so grateful to have had four amazing years of competing alongside my incredible teammates. I’ve learned so many lessons, on and off the field, that have helped me succeed in the classroom as well.”
How do overnight trips, such as the one the team took to Maryland and Virginia this past weekend, allow the team to bond?
“The overnight trips are a great opportunity for our team to bond. We spend a lot of time together in season, but the little things that come with traveling, such as the long bus rides and free time in the hotel, make a difference in our on-field play. We have such a strong bond due to two overnight trips thus far. I love spending time with my teammates, and the overnight trips are a great time to do so.”
What is the most valuable lesson you will take from the Sacred Heart lacrosse team to the Duke University lacrosse team next year?
“I will take many lessons with me, but one lesson in particular is to live in the moment. The past four years on the lacrosse team have gone so fast, and I have loved every moment. I am very excited for my next four years at Duke, and I will always cherish my time on the lacrosse team here at Sacred Heart.”
