What instruments do you play and how long have you been playing them?
“I play guitar, ukulele and piano. I’ve been playing guitar since third grade, piano since freshman year and I taught myself to play the ukulele the summer after freshman year.I like to teach myself how to play different instruments because I  truly enjoy the challenge of learning and then the satisfaction of being able to play a new song.”
Why did you decide to further your study of music in college?
“Music has always been a huge part of my life and I hope to make a career out of it so I decided to study it in college. Next year my major will be Music Education so when I graduate I can become a music teacher. I hope to perform and write songs as well after college.”
What is your favorite thing about music?
“My favorite thing about music is the connection that it provides between all different people. I also love music because it is a form of self-expression for me.”
