Learning about representation and its importance through diverse voices – Podcast
As the end of Black History Month nears, this installment of the King Street Conversations features insight from students and faculty on promoting positive representation and inclusion at Sacred Heart Greenwich. We spoke with junior Elisa Taylor to discuss representation in the media industry and connected with senior Destini-Joy (DJ) Green to discuss how students can educate themselves. We also interviewed Dr. Jessica McGibbon, Head of Lower School, about her work with younger students and Dr. William Mottolese, Upper School English Teacher and Chair of the English Department, to learn about the importance of representation in the English curriculum.
